The findings:
- knees and crotch areas are common wear points
- cuffs are common dirtied areas
- comfort and safety are predominant requirements
- Canberra at large is a locale that inspires due to the ability to engage in the artistic community
- artists often go from set up or working to exhibition/meetings
- protection of legs and arms important in some fields, as is extreme temperatures
- the activities of an artist are very diverse
